Best DJ I've had an experience with! He made sure to make my wedding day special. We met a couple of times beforehand and got the song selection all set up. He was very knowledgeable about how wedding receptions usually work and helped guide my wife and I through the process. His equipment is great with great sound and great lighting. I went to a wedding a couple of weeks after my own and I couldn't stand the DJ. If you want a good party to be great, this is where you need to go!
Steve is the best! We threw all kinds of crazy requests at him and he did everything we asked. I was so impressed with his incredible service. I've had many guests compliment me on our DJ! The pricing for weddings is an affordable all inclusive flat rate to provide everything you need and deserve from a great DJ for your big day (rather than a deceptive low offer requiring you to pay for "extras"). The price includes the following:
I will arrive two hours before guests arrive to setup, sound check, and have dinner / mingle music playing as guests arrive. And, stay as long as you have the venue for. Whether your wedding is 6-12am or 5-1am, the price reflects all the time you need.
We will meet two weeks before the wedding to cover every detail from A to Z of your night. For example, but definitely not limited to the following:
- What time guests are arriving
- What time you are arriving
- Exact phonetic spelling of each person's name to be introduced
- If you want a receiving line before dinner to greet guests or if you will greet guests by table after dinner
- If you want your bridal party introduced and to what song
- If you want a grand introduction and to what song
- If you want to cut your cake right after your introduction or after dinner and to what song
- Who will be doing the toast(s)
- If there will be a blessing and by whom
- Your first song together as husband and wife
- If there will be a father-daughter dance and to what song
- If there will be a mother-son dance and to what song
- If there will be a bouqet and garter toss and to what songs
- If you want an anniversary dance and to what song
- If you want a dollar dance and to what songs
- Your do play list
- Your do NOT play list
- Any special song dedications
- Last song of the night

I will be your emcee, using the experience of hundreds of weddings to manage every detail flawlessly. This will allow you to enjoy every minute of your night, worry free, allowing you to focus on having a great time.
Setup and Teardown
Since the price includes arriving well before guests, naturally setting up and taking down the equipment is part of the price as well.
When guests arrive, a mingle and dinner music is already playing and will play all the way through to your first dance together as husband and wife. This is another opportunity you can take to have me play some of your favorite music.
A very reliable laptop stores and plays high quality digital files allowing for immediate searching, flawless playback and seamless transitions between songs. Very high quality, best in their class, Mackie powered speakers deliver the best sounding audio. Clear and crisp highs, and rich and deep lows for you and your guests to enjoy the sound and feel these speakers provide.
Dance floor lighting
The lighting is spectacular and really enhances the music to make the dance floor a great experience. Six multi colored pin spots go to the beat of the music to provide a concert type feel. Two laser lights flash awesome patterns on the ceiling and floor for a very cool effect. The modern version of a mirrored disco ball provides that traditional mirror ball effect throughout the room. Great for slow songs, especially for your first song of the night.
Five beautiful up-lights to match any of your color schemes adds beauty and a fantastic ambiance to your venue. Two lights are placed under my skirted speaker stands and three are placed on the wall behind me or any other place you choose. The option of not having the lighting is available, and additional lights are available a-la-carte since not everyone may want the up-lighting.
I provide a top of the line Shure microphone for error free announcements from anyone requiring the use, for example for the toasts and blessing. And, I will teach those using the microphones for proper use.
I travel all over Southeast Michigan and the cost is reflected in the price. An additional charge only for destinations more than 50 miles away.
Due to the variety of locations and discounts offered for certain days, times of the year, and promotions, it is difficult to pinpoint one exact price. Please contact me so I can understand your needs and provide a rate to ensure you are not paying for more than you need. Since I am the owner and the DJ the price contains very little overhead and provides a great value.
For weddings or events less than six hours, by the hour pricing, with and without lighting is available so you do not pay for more than you need.
